    How can I?

be sure and be at peace of mind that casinos dont cheat you here and there. How can we be sure those 8 deck games actually dont have 7.5 decks or 8.5 decks? How can we be so sure that casinos dont use extra small cards and less big cards? I wish someone can just put me at peace of mind. Im aware the casinos have much more to lose by cheating, but how can we be so sure it doesnt happen. Im sure the Indian tribal casinos cheat here and there because it's unregulated and only reglated by the Indian commission, but who knows what goes down. What about the more popular known casinos? Should I not worry about this with the big name chains? Thanks in advance guys!!

Casinos are no longer owned by the mob and have a big brother (state gaming regulatory bodies) over their shoulder. Should you ever see or suspect something like this is in play, you can notify them and the big brother comes down and looks over countless hours of tapes with truck loads of scrutiny. If they should find something, they go after the casino pretty hard. That, more than anything, should give you the peace of mind that you seek.

The casino has the edge and doesn't need to cheat. They spread the cards usually when they put them into play at the start of the day for all to see. There is virtually zero chance you are cheated on a non-tribal shoe game in the United States. Pitch games, on the other hand, I cannot vouch for because a skillful dishonest dealer can deal seconds and you'd never know it.

You have the right to ask for a card check , they might do it, i ask for it once in a store in Europe and they spread the cards again. (it's part of their job)

If you really really really believe your playing a phony deck stick around until the table closes and watch them SORT THE CARDS ... Simple. I highly doubt anywhere in the US (atleast MidWest or East Coast) is doing something that serious . A lot of casinos would be fined by the upper division of gaming per state if this were the case . Don't blame your losses on phony decks .

Every time the cards are changed they are spread across the table face up and counted by two pit people, plus surveillance. The cards will be stored in a secure area and are inspected and destroyed after every gaming day. To cheat you, many different people would have to turn a blind eye. All that to toss some extra 5's in your game they already have the edge on and possibly be fined thousands of dollars from whatever regulatory body they have? It just doesn't make sense.

If you are truly serious about being cheated, then on-line poker is made for you. It's now on its way to legalization in America. At least you won't be gassed by secondhand smoke, if that's an issue.

Thanks! This reply made the most sense to me and helped me feel at ease as well as Exoter mentioning the 'big brother' would come and look at it. Because I too haven noticed they spread the cards at the end and didnt realize they were also recording it. If it is being recorded, then I feel a lot at ease cause then the 'big brother' can come and check out the tape.

Now my last question would be, what if they don't tape the rigged decks? And only tape some of them? lol, i might be overthinking it, but i like to feel some peace of mind! thanks again!

You know those big ass black domes on the ceiling? Those are surveillance cameras. They're everywhere. And they're recording everything.

In order to have this happen (which I've never seen) you better be very important to the casino business wise or legal wise. It's not part of the job other then when the game is opened or new cards are introduced to the game.

A lot of places are no longer sorting cards when removed from action. Major casinos often employ people to sort cards at a later time. It is more efficient time wise.

Most, if not all, indian casinos are now being regulated by state gaming control boards.
