    Splitting %

    Hi,

I would like to know what is the % of hands that are splits and what is the % I should expect to win from these?
(standard Vegas strip rule: 6D, S17, DAS, no surrender, peek)

    Thank you !

Doesn't tell you how often we split, but it tells you how often we get pairs and how much we make out of those hands (whether we split them or not) hope this helps.

Unlike Basic Strategy doubles, Basic Strategy splits come in two flavors.

Offensive splits are where our e.v. is more positive than not splitting.

Defensive splits are where we reduce our projected losses, e.g. 8-8 vs X
