Backed off small spread

So I was backed off at a very large casino in Minnesota. I was shocked when I was told "No more, you are flat betted at table minimum". The reason I was shocked is because I was only doing a $10-50 spread. I have played at this particular casino MANY times before using the same 5 unit spread and yet, for some reason they considered me a "highly skilled player". I do NOT consider my game to be advanced at all really. Has anyone else experienced something so silly like this, and furthermore, why the hell would a massive house like this care about my piddly amounts? Thanks for the responses in advance.

I have seen these reactions before .I do not know what to say except paranoia on the part of the casino.

I know my indices, and did split 10s one time receiving and Ace and another 10 on the second which I stood on. I am fully aware this attracts a lot of heat and curiosity, but still.. Im not upset that I got backed, just curious as to why the hell it matters for a piddly amount.. Anyways Im done venting. Good luck to everyone!

I noticed you said you go there frequently; do you play as a refusal ? What your up on the place for lifetime may have taken a toll in the BO.

Hey Tom.. Honestly I do not play as a refusal. Mostly because, as ive stated numerous times, the limits I play at are so small and I really didn't think it would be that big of a deal. I guess I was wrong, and will have to adjust my strategy accordingly for whenever I decide to go play next. =)

I've seen countless times our CSM get interested in a patrons wager ( typically 100+/ black chips ) and begin calling surveillance to have shoes ran down and then the CSM will later instruct the dealer to half shoe the patron to see if they leave . If and when they do leave (after being half shoe'd) the CSM deems them an AP.

I believe this is done out of curiosity for the players name.. The CSM will label them an AP, post the players pictures to other casinos AP networking systems warning them of the AP with an attached photo and footnote that usually read "if you have any information on this AP please call ....." ALL JUST TO GET A NAME !!

That's insane & unfair .

CSM?! (CSM: Continuous shuffling machine)
Anyway the backoff is ridiculous, I can only assume that the OP must have been really obvious in some way, either that or its the Sweatiest Sweatstore in Sweatersville.

Browsing other threads I see a lot of "Its not how much you bet, but how you play the game." I am fairly confident I was not up a whole lot, if at all LTD. Its hard to not make index moves like splitting 10s against 6 with a true count of +5 and > (6D) I play by splitting 10s +6tc +5tc +4tc against 4, 5, 6. My opinion, that is money to be made, and when you have an advantage even betting $50 to jump on it. In conclusion, I will just not even bother making index moves if I play low amounts. Not worth the headache and trouble.
