Please turn off your computer while that is the case.

Here's a copy of a post I made on this forum a little over 2 years ago:

A year or two ago, I was playing at the fountain place. I was flat betting, as the count was going nowhere. A guy sat down next to me. He seemed very friendly and chatty. Next shoe, count started tanking, and just as I was going to get up for a bathroom break, he got up for a bathroom break. I waited one extra hand, then made my way to the bathroom. Next shoe, count tanked again. I started to stand up to receive a fake phone call, and he stood up to receive a phone call. Next shoe, count started to rise, and we both started raising bets.

As I don't play Vegas very often, and it was fairly noisy, I made some comment, along the lines, "are you on any of the onine forums?" to him under my breath. Perhaps also "I was here first." We exchanged forum handles and it turned out to be Nathaniel (we both recognized each others handles.) I mentioned I enjoyed his book, and we chatted for a bit. Very nice guy!

I both know and have read the book and know the person.

ZMF is confused about which book he was referencing.

Blackjack Life is an entertaining and informative (though not very technical) excursion into the world or card counting and AP play. I recommend it to all new prospects that are dazzled by the movies and the glamour. Blackjack Life is an entertaining, and mostly accurate, reality check on the ups and downs of our adventures.

    Nathaniel is a class act.

    RWM,

Got the Kindle version today. Love it. I'm not a counter but have played (lost) much BJ. I've been scanning the AP sites for the last 10 months and enjoy GWAE. Listened to the most recent show with the brother/sister team. Thanks!!!
