Depends on how you figure your advantage. If you cut a big card to any given 1/4 deck segment that adds roughly 2% to the edge in that segment and assuming you have an equal shot with the other players to get that card, the other players don't hurt you. Now if you cut the big card to a specific slot (say the 13th card from the front of the deck) you will potentially have a much bigger edge, BUT, the other players make it much more difficult to steer the card to your betting spot as they add a level of unpredictability in how many cards will be taken and thus the other players hurt you quite a bit.
When you see a small card you're just cutting it out of play and only gaining around 0.25% (more or less depending on the card) and all players at the table benefit equally.
