Hey i'm a little new to blackjack, I have played with friends before but i recently picked up a book "The Big Book Of Black Jack" By: Arnold Snyder and i'm extremely interested, I've always been good with mental math and that's what blackjack is when you look at it . Basic strategy, is just looking at what you have and the up card and figuring out if the dealer has a higher chance of beating your card or if you have a higher chance of busting off of a potential card. And the book explains loads about the strategy. now i'm 18 and i live in Canada but i turn 19 in a few months so before i go to a casino i wanted to really work this out and understand it.

Question 1. Anyone know of any other good reading material on black jack?

Question 2. Any recommendations on what i should work on next?

Questions 3. Is playing online, (not for cash) good practice for casino's?

Thanks for reading! Let me know if i posted this somewhere i shouldnt.
