Downtown's about the only place I found worthwhile. Peek your head in enough windows and you'll find some pretty decent games available during the week. I stumbled across two GREAT games in the heart of FSE while I was down there in April .

Does anybody know if the double deck games in the Palace Station and Aliante casino in Las Vegas still have a penetration of 75%? I've visited Aliante Casino in April and their double deck games was 75% penetration but in Current Blackjack News it said it was 65% (.6 cut off).

Last time i checked station, yes...however, a couple times before that (around the april time frame) i experienced something very bizarre during a particular weekend....dealers were cutting off close to 1 deck on their usually deliciously cut DD (and i really don't think it was due to me playing)....i posted about that on this forum after that incident.

Anyhow, other than that time, station casinos, as far as i've observed still offer their notch-set good pen.

Is it correct that according to CBJN they have 10 $5 DD tables? Three years ago when I visited them they only have one $5 DD table and it was crowded.

Take the Deuce bus to downtown. All downtown casinos are together. Take your pick not just two.

50% pen is garbage unless you're spreading a lot. I found a game that lets me go about 1-19 spread without heat, which makes it pretty playable. But otherwise, you need to wong in/out, or it's crap.
