    KO

    Hi guys,
Does anyone here practice KO on CV Blackjack V 5.6? I'm just wondering, why is there such a massive difference between the playing strategy for KO Preferred (using 8 decks) and the playing strategy for KO Full 8 decks? I'm a bit confused as to which one to use. Is KO Full 8 decks a lot more profitable than KO Preferred?
    Many thanks.

KO Preferred is a simplified method. KO Full uses more precise tables and can be found in the book's appendix. Full index tables do not gain much in eight-deck games.

KO-Preferred using a compromise indices for all decks. KO Full 8 Decks uses a more accurate indices it will increase SCORE and decrease N0 using KO-full 8 decks over KO-Preferred.

Okay, many thanks! I might be playing 4-deck tables aswell though, so how much gain is there in 4-deck tables? Do you recommend me learning the KO Full for 4 and 8 deck tables? Or is the extra effort really not worth it?

Up to you. It is of more value in four-deck games.
