Blackjack System Recommendation Confusion

I was at the book store and I was looking at the gambling section. I say a guy who claims to be an author of the book "Blackjack: Play Like the Pros". What got his attention was when I was skimming through a blackjack book. Then he responded to me and said. You played blackjack then he recommend me the book Blackjack: Play Like the Pros and said he was the author of the book and show me his ID. It did state his name on there and it seem like he knows a lot about the game.

One thing I don't get and are confused about is that he recommended to me Beat Blackjack Now!L The Easiest Way to Get the Edge 2010 Edition. Then I ask him what do he think about Red Seven count. He responded to me that he wouldn't use such a system.

Confusion: Why will he recommend me the Speed Count and he have problems suggesting Red Seven?

Do you mean "he would not use such a system"??

Firstly, he recommended Blackjack: Play Like the Pros because duh, he wrote it and wants to sell books. Secondly, maybe he recommended Beat Blackjack Now: The Easiest Way to Get the Edge because he likes the book. He's not necessarily endorsing the Speed Count, maybe there are other tips/techniques he thinks are useful.

Personally, I think Scoblete's work is more for the casual gambler and not for a serious advantage player.

I use Red Seven count and love it. You'll want Snyder's book about it if you're serious about using it. Suit-aware systems aren't for everyone, though.
