Does CVBJ give betting ramps for all the systems?

    Hi,

I'm using the R7 count. Does the program give suggested betting units for this (and the other systems it supports)? If so, where do I find them?

    Thanks

Another question, How do I surrender after a split? I don't see the option and I have the surrender option clicked in the rules variations.

Highly unusual rule. I don't think CVBJ supports it.

CVBJ gives no suggested betting units as it has no idea of your circumstances. You must input your own. CVData and CVCX can calculate them for the described circumstances.

Sorry Norm, I tried to rate your post as helpful but hit the no button instead on my phone.

Really, I thought that I was able to do this at the casinos I played at in LV (MGM properties).

I have a strategy on CVBJ; but somehow the splitting table has errors. And when I go to Define Edit Strategy, of the same strategy, the tables are correct. If I rename the strategy, the newly named strategy has errors in the splitting table, but the Split tables are correct when it opens in "Define/Edit strategy." Also, I tried going to Define Edit strategy, which has the tables correct, and making them various options, and then re-correcting them; but, still, upon View tables, the errors are there. Unsolvable problem?

There are multiple sets of tables in a strategy depending on decks/rules. You are changing one set of tables, but using a different set.

It's a spanish-21 set of tables. Might have something to do with it, as this didn't occur to me in regular blackjack. So perhaps something under Settings-Options on CVBJ has been adjusted, making the strategy different than the strategy that displays once I click "Define Edit Strategy." I'll work on it.

After some hours of labor I finally said "Oh I'll just go to the Shackleford tables" and make all of the S4*, S5* etc. boxes into the recommended Felt indices; and gave it a new name, rather than tie up the forum's valuable space with my little problem. And voila! I entered all the new recommendations, and they magically changed into the erroneous ones: well, there are only 2 deviations: 66 vs. 2 split (instead of never splitting), and 44 always splits vs. 5 (instead of splitting => -4). These are the only 2 deviations. I suppose somewhere in the world someone has a worse problem than this. I could just learn the deviations, and not play them at the tables.

My guess is that you are ignoring the DAS column in the tables page.

That fixed it. Over the years the column had become invisible to me. That was good advice.
