    Very interesting GWAE

The June 26th "Gambling with an Edge" was a great show. Richard Munchkin from our sight is the cohost of the show and has a link to the podcast. Kyle and Dave are buddies with some of our members here. Congrats guys for making this situation public. And the cash too!

This Podcast concerns a very recent court case where 2 young AP's had their civil rights violated by casino security and won $200,000 in court. A must listen too for all AP's!

Seems like the casino lost more money through the court case than they did on the table, although I don't think they mentioned how much they were betting in the interview.

They hosts of the show mentioned they were hold carding early in the interview, I wish Bob or Richard would have asked more questions on the dealers mistakes and how they were able to spot the dealers hole card in order to gain their edge.

Blitz those are trade secrets and they would have never talked about it, but I am sure they did, had too, on the witness stand. These 2 AP's are very skilled at HCing and bet very big, so I would assume they won a good amount. They are also full timers, even if one is getting his masters in LV.

That's the meat and potatoes part of the interview that I precisely wanted to hear. I'm sure that the two of them put in the time to scout out the casino or casinos in the area of Mesquite to find a weak dealer. The players mentioned that they were staying at the casino for a few days which leaves me to figure that they spotted a weak dealer whereas they could exploit hole carding techniques and must have engaged in conversation with the dealer to find out if he/she was working the following days which would have coincided with their 2 or 3 day hotel stay at that paticular casino. Unsuspecting dealers are willing to talk to casino patrons, all they have to do is ask.

I'll take a wild guess and say they were more than likely playing a pitch game.

Blitzkrieg, no one is going to hand it to you. At least I hope. You should in no way feel someone owes it to you to reveal things of this nature. The point of the interview wasn't about why, it was more about what you should or should not do in certain situations when dealing with brain dead casino security.

These guys are in their early to mid 20s, yet one of them said he was in the Griffin book. How is that possible/ Playing under age?

    Griffin is still active.

The important take away to me is that they were not afraid to sue, and not afraid to hold out telling them they would not agree to a nondisclosure. Many people fold on this issue to easily.

Blitz - the day I ask someone on the show "how to find hole card games" or "how to see the hole card" is either the day I go blind, or the day JG agrees to be on the show.

I don't feel that someone owes it to me to reveal the nature of how they spotted the mechanical mishap of the dealer. But listening to the interview that was what my mind was focusing on, the gray area that was not discussed.

I'm glad that the players did choose to sue the casino and it seems that their patience paid off. It seemed that their rights were violated and it sure seems that the way things are going on in this country and especially within the casino industry when cops and casino security are involved... state and corporate powers come first, citizens/players rights come last until it goes to court.

Maybe you should, that would be an interesting topic.
