That's great!
Muff, they clearly address this issue in the podcast. The $60,000 each won in the case, after expenses, is not close to what they will win in a years time playing, but why lay down and take that kind of abuse from rental cops and real cops. I am sure one or both of these AP's Parents or Grand Parents fought in wars, WW-2, Korea, V-Nam so their families can live free under the Constitution and to roll over for these corrupt and lying cops would be a horrible affront to the sacrifices made by all those US or Canadian soldiers who fought and died for freedom. Dye, and Kyle carried on the tradition of fighting against despots and the abuse of power by bringing this lawsuit.

Good point Ouchez. I wonder if the casino will ever learn their lesson that it may be more cost effective to just let the players go instead of harassing them because of pending lawsuits in the future. Which added to their win at that casino.
I only listened to the interview one time and cannot recall if the casino manager was ever brought into this particular situation besides for the 3 security guards and the 1 police officer that was in their room. It seems like casino security has a long history of acting like thugs and incorporating a mob-like mentality when a player or players win to much. In their job description they should be acting in the interest of the casino to protect the casinos assets, and that should entail not getting the casino sued. Cooler heads should have prevailed and the casino manager should have taken charge of the situation acting in those interests. Overall I see that the casino failed in multiple areas ranging from the dealer, casino security, and the casino manager.

[QUOTE=Ouchez;135203]Muff, they clearly address this issue in the podcast. I'm in full agreement with you. Unfortunately, they were probably taxed on the 60k each which didn't leave much of a windfall but if the action didn't jeopardize their future "welcome mats" (as many think it didn't) then it was a success. Possibly more so in principle than monetarily.
If I don't play with a card I am watched, no matter what I am doing, if I play with a card and start to play to win I am watched and may very well be data base checked, so I would say being in a data base, at least for me, is a very serious matter. But then again maybe it is just me. When Kyle first saw me a few years ago, unloading a suitcase from my car in front of a casino, (Kyle had not met me at this time), he told me he knew instantly that I was not the run of the mill casino goer and that there was something very different about me, so I do tend to have a problem whenever I do sit down to play. In my case I always use a card, I feel it is the best of two bad choices, however at my home casino it is very cool and I do feel safe. At some casinos I dare not use a card, and it is literally hit and run, win or lose, not much fun at all. I did find it amazing that Kyle and Dye still can play in many places using their ID, of course this is what lead to Dye being trespassed, and triggered the entire situation. I also am amazed that JG still puts in so much time, but if you do use fake ID and make-up, costume, I am sure you can get away with much more.

If you are just counting it is usually hit and run anyways. You don't need to be databased to get picked off if you are camping out. My back offs haven't changed at all since I've been databased. Then again I almost always play short sessions.
EDIT: I suppose if you don't "blend" well it could also cause problems.
I'm just saying its not hard to find a game, whether you are databased or not.
