It's work that I enjoy doing. It's not the same with having fun. I do have fun faking my fun face on the table. You got to show some emotions when you win or lose. My loser emotions is sometimes real though. Losing streaks are stressful. You can have fun after work. Treat yourself with a little gambling and wh0res lol

When I return from each Vegas trip my wife always asks "Did you have fun?"

I always answer that it's not "fun". But I enjoy it.

Whether it be fun, work or some combination thereof remember:

At least it seems people understood me when I used enjoy instead of fun. I thought it might go over people's heads.

If I ever return from a Vegas trip alone and if my wife asks "Did you have fun?"...

... she will most definitely be pointing a gun at me.

What more do you want? You can't have the cake and eat it too. Consider this a job. How many people enjoy what they do for a living at their job? Very few live a life where they love their job and thus technically never work a day in their life. AP can be fun, but if you're not having fun so what, think of it as a job, you're still making money so let it be. Next time you go work at whatever you do, do you ask yourself what's the point in working here if im not having fun? Of course you don't say that because you're still getting paid. So even if you're not having fun at AP blackjack you're still making money, consider it a job

Well you can't call it gambling if you have an edge but yeah I hear yah. I only gamble a few dollars only after a big win and when I mess around showing my AP friends how to beat roulette with my awesome strategy. It gets funnier when we start discussing other gambling strategies in front of gamblers lol

That's when it really feels like a job.

If you don't mind me asking , how many months have loses gone in a row? if it's not too personal ... I've heard of people talking about months losing in a row , but I've never heard a number attached to it

The best way I can sum it up... It's fun, but it's not. Good cards to all.

It has to be just your looks Ouchez. If a guy is overly friendly to me at casino, I
    immediately clutch my purse.

surfer, I do have fun sometimes but getting into the mindset of winning money with not such
a big bankroll can be stressful to me.
The more I play, the more it seems like work and more nervous I get because I've experienced
    big losses. (Big to me)

    I'm glad you're having fun.
i play to win so I can have fun with loved ones doing other things.
i have a long way to go to make trade off of time away from family worth it.
this reminded me of a post on the other forum that closed I don't know if that AP is here now , but , his story was something like he was Counting in Vegas , had his bankroll with him , I don't remember every detail , but I believe he had drinks and suddenly decided to play slots , lo and behold won a decent sized jackpot ... then magically a girl wanted to join him in his room / or get a hotel room with him / He didn't say exactly what happened next but it had something to do with him mentioning something like , he was seduced by either her thong / I don't want to get too ranchy on here / so let's just say " what the British would call Bum" / When the romance was over , She was gone and his BR was missing when she left ... If I recall is was between $3,000 and 4,000$ , I could be wrong about the amount and the play by play exactly , but , don't get pulled into the matrix with the seduction when you are holding your BankRoll.
