They deal it when they think it will be kept crowded. The pen is not good. No LS. You make the call.

Speaking of LS, I have not run into any DD LS games. If you know of any, I'd appreciate a PM. Thanks.

Sweet. I have never played in CA. Is it worth the drive from Vegas in your opinion, or would I do just as well staying there?

Its only about 4 hours to drive it, I say yes. Seems vegas gives way more heat on the DD games.

Would you PM me the names of those casinos?

Barona has a deeply dealt DD with LS, H17, DAS; Nice game while you last.
There's a DD game in PA with PA rules (S17, LS, DAS), but the pen is ~50% and sweaty.

Yes, this is in the USA. It is 1 of 2 states that legislation intervened and made a rule outlawing the barring/restrictions against card counters in casinos, so long as they are not caught being aided by device or another individual. A quick google search will give you the answer to the jurisdiction.

I thought I'd see a few of them when I was in vegas a few months ago, didn't find one. But, being with family at every place, I didn't get too much time to explore and review every single table either.

Barona I've heard talked about many times on this forum and another, and I had a friend of mine who lives just a few minutes away go check it out for me, apparently its pretty legit on a weekday, I've marked it down as a reminder to stop by later this year when I fly out to visit him.

Yes, Barona is reported to have a DD H17 game with LS. I have never played there, but may drive over later this year.

From what he told me the penetration was pretty favorable, after I had to explain to him what penetration was and kept second guessing what he was telling me to make sure he had it right.

The game is legit, but the the EITS and pit are very well trained. They won't back you off until they're sure you have an edge, and they will treat you very well until then. IMHO, one of the best run casinos in the US. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
If you plan on visiting, then take a bit of time to read the http://discountgambling.net/ writeup about the unusual way they deal MS Stud.

Barona DD is not deep pen. Not to mention, it's almost impossible to find a game (any BJ game) heads up, or a seat at all. Sometimes you can find an empty table in HL for $100....$50 in off times.

This is all true. Excellent casino, very professional staff, and a general joy to play. Comps are liberal.

This is also true. I would estimate .8 is cut off, and it is by notch, so rather consistent. Your best chance at a lower limit heads up is actually at the handicap accessible $5 6D table during off times. High limit really is only opportunity for even close to a heads up DD game. The $25 DD games are plentiful but constantly swarmed. Expect a full table 90% of the time.

The nice environment and friendly staff is a blessing and a curse. It makes it enjoyable to play, but it also makes it enjoyable for the civilians, who come back in greater numbers without fail.
