Being in the midwest , just to play and having to drive an hour and a half to maybe even 2 hours sometimes, is like losing a good sized bet right off the top ... can't seem to understand how to overcome that "disadvantage" ...
KJ, Just read this or I would have tore into you about your Midwest comment!!

    Nikky,
I believe I know where you reside, area wise, and even with the drive you have outstanding opportunities! You must learn to enjoy the drive and the scenery, nature, it need not be all about the gaming.

midwest HL games are actually good....if low limit play the "dirty hole" (greek style..)....crushed the chunky place in WI too, but very small..and heavy action gets attention quick - very small, boat flashbacks...literally, like 2-3 bj tables so not my scene..lol..and difficult to get to....so HL = good games, otherwise..for most, not worth the trip

btw..i have played EVERYWHERE midwest (clev-chitown, sans IN)

yeah, you're right , I should relax during the trek - by the way Ouchez an interesting thing , a while back I posted something like "poor conditions at Mid-west Casino" , well , lo and behold , I accidentally went back there - not to play , but because my wife needed to stop and was curious anyway about the particular place ... guess what ... almost every game has been put back to BJ is 3:2 , and only one CSM left - amazing ... I'm thinking there are serious amount of "Casino Persons" watching ?, maybe they didn't want bad PR? maybe not - but hard to think otherwise- because even with 6/5 the tables were packed with the ploppers to the max...but maybe the ploppies figured they were losing too much and it hurt .... I don't know , maybe it's just a coincidence ... if you ever want to share ideas , I left my email address in your latest BASH thread ... even though it's postponed , I don't care I'll take any info ... take care
“It seemed to me ... that any civilization that had so far lost its head as to need to include a set of detailed instructions for use in a package of toothpicks, was no longer a civilization in which I could live and stay sane.
