We celebrate motherhood and our moms but what of the unsung heroes... The moms of our ancestry, the moms of yesteryear. I think back to what it was like during the Conestoga wagon days, my great great grandpa out bison hunting and making preparations for a long drawn out winter full of hardship. Great great grandma Gertie knew what a tough time he was having so would often wear her crotchless leather panties when he came back from bison hunting. Distracted from his task at hand of making bison jerky, great great grandma Gertie got great great grandpa all sexed up and ready to rock... that Conestoga wagon shook into the night and some months later great grandpa was being born as the wagons were circling during a Sioux attack on the wagon train. Great great grandpa fought them off and wiped them out, knowing the alternative would be to die and never see his beloved Gertie looking damn fine in her crotchless leather panties ever again, meaning Gertie was the key to the survival of the entire family! Thank you Gertie and I love you.
