    Backed off while losing!

Sucks..just when it was turning around.
I know some of you hate whiners and complainers but
i need to vent. I was playing rated. Can I play here again
without a card? Have many of you been backed off before?
I never thought about camouflaging my play because I am not
very good and never bet very much.

Backcounting is something that is not tolerated at any level of play. All you need to know is when not to bet. Most of the myriad of other things that a successful counter needs to know isn't nearly as important. You are a threat even if you are an idiot.

I have been informally backed off while losing. I started winning after a long slaughter and a not so subtle nonverbal request was made that it was time I leave. I complied so I am still able to play there.

If they recognize you, you won't be able to play unrated. Best to lay low for a couple months to let them forget you if you want to try playing unrated. The longer you stay away the better and avoid the people that backed you off especially and personnel that know you in general upon your return. The other issue is you may be databased or in some other way your info may be shared with other casinos so you may be toast there as well.

They like to back you off while losing. I got backed off from one store after losing every single hand I played (about 15 hands total). The rest of the table couldn't believe it when I was referred to as an "advantage player".

That is really unfair even for casinos.
they expect everyone to lose all the time.

So now when they see you return they give you a thumbs up until they decide you have been counting long enough and politely give you the thumbs down? Amazing!

I wouldn't exactly say that. I observed what they were comfortable with me doing on previous visits but I was pushing the limits. I stay within the limits they set now. You know, like shorter sessions. less frequent visits, lower casino win tolerance considerations. I had it coming when they took action. I had been camping there waaay to long. After an appropriately long absence I have visited regularly though infrequently. The place is a sweatshop that I wasn't treating with the due respect. I am just glad they didn't back me off.

Meh this sentiment comes off a lot - even though you are losing, you are playing a winning game. It feels like salt in the wound, but that's probably why casinos love it more

Yes, give them some time to forget you. Come back with a different look and play unrated. Avoid the person who backed you off.

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
