The tribes do have a vested interest in the player's pool. Each month they must remit 10% of the net win of the player's pool to the State of Oklahoma. They are authorized to take for themselves the same amount from the player's pool per Cheyenne/Arapaho Gaming Compact.

In effect the tribe pays 10% of your win out of their pocket.

Giving up $50 per hour to play their blackjack game AND giving up another .5 - .8 house advantage in the game itself is a very, very bad decision. OR this had better be a very, very good game with deep penetration and the best rules S17 DAS, RSA SR and then you better be betting more than green and wonging out OR he is flashing the hole card.

Sometimes we beat ourselves with game selection regardless of how good we play!
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

Stealth: Only NO ante games played...........more casinos but not all are going to no ante and taking the ante for the tribe out of the player pool. And since any comps are considered "expenses" or "costs" to the tribe, they are also taken out of the player pool. The pool is "supposedly" returned to the players in winnings, promos and prizes. Like free tournaments, drawings, etc. Most games are fairly standard on the shoe games; "old Vegas" strip rules. But I did see one hand held pitch game at another small location. Only problem is they H17 AND pay 6-5. And they wondered why no one was playing at that table???

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
