    Casion Verite, CVCX/CVDATA future updates

Will updates for Casinos Verite, CVCX/CVDATA be provided to Windows XP users after April 8. I am asking this is because Microsoft is ending support for Windows XP. Therefore, my university force me to upgrade to Windows 7 but my computer at home will be running Windows XP. Will updates still be provided for Windows XP users. How long will it be provided? I apologize for those of you that find this post stupid.

There are no plans to add functionality that requires new Windows functions.

Good so I can still use Casino Verite, CVCX/CVDATA on my desktop at home with Windows XP. I did numerous simulations (few hundred MBs) on it so upgrading will be a big hassle.

You can still upgrade to Windows 7 and use all Qfit products without any issues. Windows 7 is superior to XP.

I have three laptops and three desktops all running Windows XP Pro. So that mean I will need to buy six product codes for Windows 7. How much will that cost me???

For Windows 7 Professional about $600 for six licenses. Windows 7 does require substantially more RAM and has a bigger footprint than Windows XP. I would make sure that all of your computers can not only handle the upgrade and has the resources to properly run the OS and have all of the required drivers downloaded and backed up before you upgrade. That said, MS will support Windows 7 until 2020 even though they plan to quit selling it later this year.

Thank you for the concern. I checked with Windows7UpgradeAdvisor and Windows8UpgradeAssistant. It indicates that I have the system requirements to have both Windows 7 and Windows 8 on the machines.
