    should i accept this comp????

i frequent a casino that is an excellent place to play bj. excellent conditions with no apparent heat.
i do not want to lose this venue.
however this venue has offered me an interesting and enticing comp:
comped rooms and suites at major las vegas hotel casinos including Bellagio.
    $100 dining and beverage credits.
    $150 free slot play.

    this is very enticing.
however i think i will get more typical heat from these las
vegas casinos than i get from my usual frequent venue
that is offering these comps in partnership with mgm
    resorts international.

i am concerned that the heat from the mgm resorts int'l
casinos will be relayed to my usual venue and that my
    usual venue will be compromised.

    please advise.

I don't think there is much danger, however, there are still a number if considerations. Sounds like a 2 night comp.

Firstly, what is your game of choice and your expected value. What is your typical min and max bet. ($10 min at MGM gets you mostly CSM) Second, what is your distance, i.e., your average travel cost to Vegas. Choose your MGM hotel carefully - some sweat more than others.

The $100 food credit is worth about $50 off the strip - there are lots of reasonably priced restaurants that provide sorta healthy meals - so that is not really a big deal. You can play a good spread at most MGM 6d for an hour or so easily - my last BO was at Mandalay on 6d - guess I was a bit obvious.

If you're really concerned about it - 2 options
    1. Flat bed or low spread for 2 hrs morning and night, hitting other Vegas stores during the day - research your venues.
    2. Stay and stiff - not playing, but use your food credits - worst that will happen is that your home stire will be told you're a dead beat.

Should have also mentioned - this type of MGM comp usually charges resort fees - so double check that point

Whats your min bet? You have to play 25-50 min to get a shoe or pitch game at Bellagio iirc. Nothing wrong with taking a comp and stiffing them. I cannot advise on heat while spreading there though. If you are playing 25-50 min, vegas casinos can fade your action and will probably take longer to evaluate you if you aren't databased.

when you were backed off from mandaly bay did
they relay that info to other mgm casinos?

i live in northern calif. bay area.
my spread is $25 to 2 hands at $150 or $200 each.
i go with my care provider and will likely take air plane.
i use uston's advanced plus minus system.

I've actually been backed off at MBay twice. Both times my fault. First was playing rated at DD - combined with my win record there. The second time was a stiff and stay, where I played my last night in Vegas - played unrated, though I was staying there - they didn't know who I was. I've played several MGM locations since the first backoffs, though never rated - I should rephrase - wasn't actually backed off - first time restricted to flat bet minimum - second time restricted to flat bet at whatever my bet was at the time - I finished that shoe as bet was 350 at the time

The spread you have indicated could cause you some problems at DD, though should not be an issue, depending on venue, at 2x200.

Bad clarity on my part - 2x200 should not be an issue, depending on venue , at 6d

By databased, I mean the name on your card is in OSN or Biometrica.

I take comps and never show any play on the account all the time.

    Interesting question
You don't have an MLife card, but are already offered the comp. wouldn't be surprised if you would be assigned a number after transfer of your info from your local store to MGM? - once if course, the comp was accepted.

get the comp at Bellagio and then play else where , safest bet. Same games can be found all over the strip at the 25 dollar level. At those levels you should be fine especially if you play thurs-sunday in vegas. YOU DO NOT WANT TO PLAY RATED DOUBLE DECK IN VEGAS IN YOUR REAL NAME WHATEVER YOU DO !
