I would be against internet gambling. Here's a few reasons why:
Job loss - Why put brick and mortar casinos out of business with online casinos that require only a few people and a software program?
Oversight - Who will oversee these games to make sure the player has some recourse in case of cheating and fraud?
Loss of tax revenue - I don't know exactly how it will be managed but I guarantee the owners will use whatever means are available to avoid taxes. Whether it is providing the game offshore or operating the games from states with no taxes. They will find the cheapest place from which to base their operations.
Abuse - You have to look at the lowest form of politician. "Good morning Senator. I need your vote on this bill ....oh by the way, here's my card. Why don't you try a little online gambling. I think you'll find it enjoyable." Offer that to almost any politician in Memphis, TN and you have a vote. No money changing hands and no record.
Low income citizens - These lotteries are taking enough money from people who can least afford it due to ignorance.
I'm not trying to get political here, just posting a few thoughts about online gambling.

Job loss - Hard to say the effect here. Atlantic City is hoping online casinos will help them avoid closing their B&M casinos. In any case, if you were to make everything illegal that increases worker productivity, we would have to make machines illegal.
Oversight - Each state will create their own oversight mechanisms.
Loss of tax revenue - I believe the laws that have been passed thus far have all required in-state processing.
Abuse - How is this different from B&M casinos?
Low income citizens - Yes, that can be a problem. But, it's a problem anyhow.
