    Additions to CVBJ

The next version of Casino Verite Blackjack will not be out for many months. But, I like to start planning early. Requests for additions are more than welcome.

    1) A useful feature would be the ability to save and load settings under different file names, rather than having to manually reconfigure for different games each time.

    2) Much less important, but for completeness sake, add an option for a redouble (1+1+1) rule as discussed on this thread:

That has existed since version 1, 20 years ago. Look at the User Control section in the lower-right corner of the start-up page.

Options-Settings-Redouble. There exist additional options on the Redouble rule in CVData as you must include limitations for a sim.

Do you mean creating a different 'user' for each set of rules or am I missing something obvious? If the former then there is no way to track errors and progress between different sets of 'users'/settings.

The redouble option does an actual redouble (bet 100, double for 100 more, redouble for 200 more) rather than the option described in the linked thread (bet 100, double for 100 more, 'redouble' for 100 more); for CVBJ I guess the distinction is meaningless.

Regarding the redouble options in CVData, does unit in 'Unit cap' refer to the original bet amount of to something else?
For example, if I wanted to limit the redouble to be equal to the original bet amount ($100 bet, double for 100 more, 'redouble' for 100 more) would I set the 'Unit cap' option to 1 or to something else?

    Thanks.

You can track multiple users at once using History-Maintain Logs, although maybe not in the way you wish. This data is kept in a SQL data base and then fed into the charts, stats or spreadsheet functions. Any changes should be to how the data is accessed. Perhaps some additional sort and selection parms, or even a custom SQL statement.

Ah, missed that. Have to find a new spot for the option. Unit Cap is the highest number of units allowed in a redouble bet. Washington State rule. If a redouble would result in a higher bet than the cap, it is not allowed.

    1) Option for crazy old Asian lady screaming "monkeee!" at random times, or her yelling at you when you double A8v6, hit 13v2/3, split TTv5/6.
    2) Random times the game stops or slows down for some reason like it does in real life [chip fill, drink spilled, player takes forever to hit/stand, etc.].
    3) Not sure if already possible, but maybe be able to change the hotkeys for Stay Hit sPlit Double Insure from SHPDI to 12345 or whatever person chooses.
    4) Is it possible to change the dealer? I'm sick n tired of that b*tch.
    5) When looking through random settings, it's hard to read some of them since some text is in WHITE and other text is in BLACK.
