    Hey Don,

Are you sure about the HiLo Indices. Isn't it TC3 for 16 vs Ace? And a 15 vs 10 TC5? That is H17, 6D.

Members on Wong's site can be a little intolerant at times, but Zee has brought most of this on himself and now he continues to do so on multiple sites. At first I felt bad for him too. I am always out to help newer players and offer advice and encouragement when I can. It is something I feel I owe, because I truly believe most of any success that I have had, I owe to the education that I received on these message boards from members, who I sometimes annoyed, who were generous with their time and sharing of experiences.

But as time goes on, I am more and more convinced that Zee, is not here to learn anything. He refuses to do any of the work for himself, read through any books, or any of the archives of the sites he belongs to to find any of the answers he seeks. He just wants everyone to do everything for him. He continues to ask very elementary questions that he could easily find the answers to himself, but he doesn't want to be bothered. He admits that he is lazy and doesn't want to be bothered.

And then when someone like 21forme shows his frustration, Zee plays the part of the victim, saying things like "I am an old man and can't learn new things". He then attacks anyone who responds as intolerant and saying things like "they have anger issues". BS! And for what it's worth, anyone who has been around for even a short time and has benefited from 21forme's participation of the sites, knows that 21forme does not have anger issues. He is very patient and usually stays above any fray. That just shows you the level of frustration that Zee is pushing on the membership of both sites, the community as a whole.

I myself am a very patient and tolerant person, and I too have had it with this BS. I am a little bit like Bjarg, I wouldn't care and could almost laugh it off, except, this is the type of crap that wears 'solid' members out and makes them want to participate less and less. And for that we all lose. And I am not so sure that isn't Mr Zee's primary intent.

I myself hope they keep coming since I really enjoy laughing my ass off at responses like 21forme's.
Oh, they will be coming. I do post spontaneously. I come back from a casino having seen a dealer show her bottom card when she presents it to be cut and while I knew what to do when a small or a Ten card was the one I saw, I was not so sure about the 7 or 8. I post. Its not like I will return home and then spend time doing research because my posting will tick someone off. I get to enjoy it too. It is funny, how some of these guys know my handle, believe it is a moronic or amateurish post before they open it and yet they open it. Funny enough that they read my posts but they always find time to try and amuse me by being nasty.

I will never understand people that place such a small value on their time and answer questions by a troll who wouldn't spend his time on research.

Wow kewl hats off to you. You should be nominated for the peace nobel.

I very strongly agree with your last statement about solid members being worn off. I think thats happened a lot lately and believe its an issue that should be adressed somehow.

I saw no indication in the OP of H17. I always assume S17, because, well, I never played a H17 game in my life! Too many posters ask questions without citing specific rules; it irks me. So, my indices are for S17, while yours are right for H17 (however, see below).

You mean to write 15 vs Ace, above, and not ten, which is what the OP asked.

I wish you would just let someone impartial examine my posting...

I post a simple question (see my original post). Yes, I could look it up but I did not. However, with someone providing indices and DonS clarifying it, not only me but other novices are learning.

yes, you may be right that I am lazy, I prefer to believe that I do not have the time or the inclination or the risk of getting my family and my kids believe I am going to lose all my money in casinos. It is at this time recreational for me.

logic says that you should not have the need to respond to every post I make. You could see my name and move on to another thread.

why do all these people who claim to know me make it a point to read and respond to me. At any given time there are lots of threads going. I beg you, please do not read threads or respond to something I write. Your responses are the reason there are lots of people who are too scared to ask a question.

This says it all, really. Why should anyone bother using up their time trying to help someone who really doesn't give enough of a **** to get off their lazy ass and read what they already have? Anyone who answers you is wasting their time.

follow your own advice, don't answer!! Kind of silly advising people not to read and not only are you reading but you are taking the time to write advising others what to read and what not to read!!!

Try not to speak for everyone. If no one answers me, I would have stopped posting but, just like this thread, all my threads where I might ask a simple question (do we hit a 16 against an Ace?, do we double A8 against 6, etc ) ends up with some good responses and a lot of idiots who try to change the thread and make it about me.

look at you, trying to convince everyone to be like you. FYI, lots of people have PM and provided me answers and then there are some patient folks wondering why it is that you cannot stop reading posts started by me?

Well, any thread you start is guaranteed at least one idiot, and you obviously don't care and are too lazy to change. It's not going to get any better after that.

The only thing I hate as much as stupid threads is the infighting about the stupid thread. I don't come here to see a fight or a gang tongue lashing any more than I come for stupid easily answered questions. I hope I didn't just become one of those that I dislike with this post.
