    Full early surrender

Hello everyone. I've been on this forum for awhile but never posted before. Anyways. I was at a casino the other day and I noticed they offered full surrender. Should I be excited about this? I've checked multiple edge calculators for game and was curious if the results I was getting was accurate. The results were showing positive EV with just the use of basic strategy. Whats the most accurate calculator out there?

Early surrender is rare. They probably offer late surrender.

While I was playing I decided to surrender my hard 16 vs Ace after the dealer checked. The dealer said "You know you could have surrendered before I checked right?".

Now that's interesting.... So far I only had notice of one (1) other place in the world where they had FULL (including Ace) EARLY (before checking) surrender.

    Guess this makes it two!!

You should try to find out if it is full early surrender (T and A) or just A only. I've seen both, and it will make a difference on your optimal bet sizing.

Hello again. I went back to the casino asked about early surrender. They offer early surrender vs 10 and also late surrender. What is the actual house edge with these rules? I'm not seeing a calculator that allows me to select both early surrender and late surrender.

Early Surrender vs 10, late surrender
6 deck, hits on soft 17, split up to 4 hands

    Thanks in advance

So if the dealers upcard is a T they wont peek and you can surrender? What happens to splits and doubles if the dealer has a natural? And if the dealers upcard is an ace theyll peek and you can surrender if not blackjack?

I think the first dealer didn't understand the rules of the house. It appears they offer early surrender only versus a 10. He was going to let you surrender against an ace before checking.
