Combining BJ with more advanced advantage plays

I now know the strategies for beating essentially every game in a casino other than roulette and slots. I am always on the lookout for opportunities to obtain stronger edges than what is available in standard card counting.

With that said there are many occasions where no such opportunities exist on that given day. in addition there are many casinos where the game procedures and or policies toward promotional play make it unlikely there will ever be worthwhile opportunities outside of card counting. Finally I am a part timer who can probably play at most 40-60 hours a month. So when I do go I prefer to generate at least some expectation.

My question is, what is your attitude toward bj play at:

Casinos you play regularly with strong non bj opportunities
" where bj is the best game and that will not likely cchange
casinos you are unlikely to visit again, but may have links to casinos you play regularly

FWIW my style is to play no cover and 1-3 big shoes per pit and shift then hit and run

Please, give me a run down list of casino games you think it is beatable with advantage play other than blackjack or a variation of that. It is not much nowadays.

    Craps?

(note that I exclude all outright cheating from AP, so no pastposting, dice switches, etc.)

No thanks. Posting a detailed description of how each game is vulnerable is not going to be good for anyone. You aren't going to get anyone that provides a list. Do your own research or make friends with knowledgeable players. But you will do better to assume games are beatable and keep an open mind than by assuming they are not beatable at all. Maybe you don't know how to beat it just yet, but don't write it off and ignore it. There are certainly games I haven't beat yet, but even on most of those, I know of ways other APs have beat them. Give it time, keep an open mind, read everything you can, make friends in high places, and you'll figure out more playable games over time.

Yes. And I don't mean dice control or cheating. Could I go do it right now? Definitely not. But under the right conditions, craps can and has been beaten.

If you enjoy games with stronger edges and is something you think you can transition to, I suggest sticking to those games and lessen your counting activity. Why? If you get caught counting and became known, it will be harder to transition since you will bring heat to yourself in every game you land on.

If craps is beatable how come there is no professional craps players???? When I mean professional crap players I mean players that play craps for a living.

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
