I do something she considers outrageous, stand on 16 v 10, double on A8 vs 6...; she's screaming at me about how I'm screwing it up for everyone else. Working girl now tells the other players at the table to stop playing because I'm screwing up their hands. They comply; everyone stops. Well as it turns out the shoe has become very positive...only too glad the rest have stopped playing. Working girl gets out of her seat and now starts pleading her case to the national police in the casino. Meanwhile, I'm getting to stack up the chips. The other non playing playing players are watching this; and not wanting to miss out on the action slowly one by one rejoin the play. Working girl comes back to the table still in a lather but having lost the battle...nobody pays any attention to her now. Small victory but amusing....enjoy the show.

I'm in Central America. Where are you located? PM me...

Technically you do alter the player's hands at the table with your current play; in the SHORT RUN. That's what those players at the table don't understand. There's no LONG RUN for them, so they can't understand that what you do now to them is meaningless.

What angers all of us APs, is that those players who get angry, think they can beat the house in the long run, and have short run conceived thoughts, while at the same time playing with a disadvantage.

I don't think it's called a "short run" .There's a social aspect in the game, just be ready to handle the situation or play by yourself .

I prefer heads up if you are giving me a choice.

I used to subscribe to the idea that I was the stupid one at the table grinding it out for 50/hr in EV or whatever while these players were there for entertainment. Hence they were the smart ones. Having played long enough, I now realize most of these people are just nasty degenerates who don't have the money to gamble while those that don't say much are far more likely to be winners in life outside of blackjack.

One thing you can do is say "next time I get a 12 vs 2 or 3 or soft 18 vs 9-a I will sell you my hand and you can do what you want with it."

One thing I actually used to do upon joining the table was say "I often like to split 10's and hit 12's against all dealer cards. Just thought I should warn you all if this bothers anyone."
If they stay, they were warned and have no right to gripe. If they leave, more HPH for me!
