I saw something about this a while back, only got a glimpse of it but there was something that seemed a little off about it. Something just didn't sit right with me for the few brief moments I saw it.
There was a guy a while back that I read about that was just some random gambler that was playing BJ and he ended up winning almost a million in one night. The more he won the more he bet and he just kept going to higher and higher limit tables. One of those one in a trillion things that this guy got super lucky and couldn't lose, although I'm sure he gave a lot of it back before the end of the trip.
I did not appreciate Don speaking before the casino's execs about what to look for, or what to avoid, his comment about knowing who else is sitting at the table with the high roller or a highly skilled player was very, very telling,,and in a way a stab in the back to his trainers.

Agree that the program sucked, unless your interested in the economic state of the gaming biz. This simian didn't get much more insight into how he pulled it off....and I agree that he is prone to some misdirection. Does anyone know if his rebates were on a per session basis?
Me thinks Kewl will disagree with the "any monkey can count cards" statement.
Did I misunderstand, or will simply betting huge (even on multiple spots) overcome variance??
And what the heck is "point 253 & one tenth percent" mean?? I played it back a couple of times...
The segment on requesting better rules was pure B.S....c'mon S17, DOA, split 4 times...
What I found particularly relevant is the Marketing side vs. Operational side... an open conflict of competing visions...exploitable, given knowledge, time, commitment and the ability to synthesize the two.
