I usually don't look at the lower limit games at the Fountain place because they are CSM. At least they were last time I looked at them. Has that changed?

They had $10 6 deck games with
decent rules during the day a few months ago

… but you are way off. 2 decks cut off of a 6 deck shoe is a disgusting 67% penetration !

"The dealer told me that only high limit games start with burning just one card."

I don't think it was that unusual
A lot of people like to start with a new shoe
I simply asked if I can start a new shoe

I'm trying to understand the OP.

Did you ever see a dealer shuffle 6 decks of cards, followed by a player inserting the cut card, then the dealer placing the cards in the 6 deck shoe, and then burning--not one card--but an entire deck?

I'm going on a trip soon and was wondering if anyone knew if they still had "free hit blackjack" at the Nugget? (Doubles and splits don't require extra cash outlay) And I was told it had DECENT rules. Still there? My sources correct as to playability?

I saw 6 decks hand shuffled with liberal rules for $10 at the fountain place mid morning. This was about a month ago.

After my first trip to Vegas with a small bank roll and playing red chip games, I vowed to always have enough bank to play 25 min. games. Now I can usually finance my trip (and more) and play 2 and 6 deck games with good rules. What a difference! I will not go unless armed and confident. The last 16 years has been much different since I made that promise to myself. A good plan can allow short sessions at EC and several have posted success there. It is always a must stop for me. I laugh and chat with the pits. I do think they are sharp and I noticed they are very well dressed for the overall appearance of the casino. If you can save, play 25 min. games. Just look at the advantages you will have. It does wonders for your confidence. Not having enough money in Vegas sucks and it will never happen again.

I have a situation where it's very hard to save up for a bankroll except by playing. It's pretty nerve wracking
taking risks with insufficient bankroll. I made some money, but it's pretty scary because of the huge
swings. I played $25 min table recently and I came close to losing third of my bankroll before I was up at all.
This is even after walking away from tables at more than -2 TC.
i vowed not to do that again..In the meantime, I am working on perfecting my game.
i really liked the pit bosses at El Cortez, even though they watch you very closely.
very classy, at least I my experience- it might be because I really didn't give them enough reason
for rough treatment -lol. Yes, I will try to get my hands on 10k, that's how much you need
    for $25 min games, right?
