Low Stakes Players Should Not Overlook The Colorado Casinos

In 1991 Colorado was the third state in the U.S. to legalize Casino gambling. Currently there are roughly 40 casinos in the entire state in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek. Throughout the state they have approximately 150 Blackjack tables which offer decent games ranging anywhere from 2D, S17, DAS, 2D, H17, DAS, 6D, S17, DAS, RSA, 6D, H17, DAS, RSA.

I felt the need to start this thread on the Colorado Casinos because I have yet to see any posts on them and many posts on where else to play for the low stakes player.

    Just Something To Consider...

Why put so much info, totally unnecessary. i do not live there, but for the locals it would not be a good thing. be vague and pm if more info is warranted. I am sure there some low stake cc around the state that's not too happy about this.

Anybody that put the time and effort to learn can figure out how to attack a game thru straight counting.

By posting this you are furnishing the casinos with information since I think casino patrols read this forum's postings. I am thankful for this information please do it using private message.

Sent info to people that are some what established ,with post that's relevant and useful and at least appear to be a cc/ ap . I know there would be casino personnel coming here. At least make it a bit harder for just a visitor without any contribution or built relationship to get info easily. I have had pro/semi pro my assumptoin slash /burn my games. It 's nothing I can do but at least keep it within the community .

I miss low stakes play: so inherently less likely to draw heat. Big wins and big losses, still staying under the radar. No one staring at me, objecting to chip stacks, no one throwing fits that at how I played. It all changed when I went to green. I don't know how players play black and survive surveillance.

Posting information about the low stakes play in Colorado isn't going to hinder anyone!!! It is no different when players makes posts about Vegas, Reno, and Atlantic City. No particular casino names are revealed as to their specific rules. Its a gaming town...The casinos aren't going anywhere they have been around for 23 years...

So each of the 40 casinos only has 3 or 4 BJ tables?

Many of them are slots only. Some of the smaller ones have 3-4 BJ tables, and only one or two may be open during the week. The Colorado casinos are regularly updated in CBJN and have the info on # of tables, etc.

Also, of note, there is significant heat, despite the low limits. Two Colorado casinos recently did a purge of previously-tolerated APs, presumably related to their recent ownership changes.

The number of BJ tables in the casinos do vary. The small casinos have just a few, if any, but the larger ones like the Ameristar has 15 tables. The Monarch currently has 7 tables but is currently expanding the casino and building a hotel to accomidate 1,500 guests. Soon the Monarch will have a total of 22 BJ tables when they're done.... Their goal is to out do the Ameristar. The higher end casinos in Colorado are extremely competitive. I'm certain that once the Monarch completes their expansion the Ameristar will answer to it.
