Had an interesting thing happen the other day. I go to my local spot and they have a playable 6 deck game (other than the fact you have to pay 50 cents a hand to play).
Well, this night I see a table with a sign that says "dd bj!" No one is playing but the rules are posted. Horrible game. 6:5, no das, double 9 10 11 only etc. complete crap.
Pit boss is standing there and I ask if the game offers surrender. He says "no, none of our games offer surrender".
Well a week earlier I had sat down at the 6d game one table over and surrendered a 16 v 10. What's everyone's thoughts on this? Ill never ask again, they'll have to tell me no when I try and surrender. Anyone know of other opportunities like this that should be obvious but aren't? Failure of casino to protect its game or (could it be considered) something more? Treat it like a mispay or treat it like a move that could land you in the slammer?
