    Opinion or sims on two approaches to 6 deck bet spreads..

    Guys, any advice on which approach is better in 1 6 deck, H17 game with about 1.25 deck cut poff, standard rules,no LS.

    TC 0 or less - $10
    TC1 - $15
    TC 2 -$25
    TC3- $40
    TC4 - $80
    TC5+ $120

    TC0 or less - $10
    TC 1 - $15
    TC2 - spread to two hands of $20
    TC3 - spread to two hands of $30
    TC4 - spread to two hands of $50
    TC5+ spread to two hands of $75 each

    Do I have any chance of winning with these approaches? What can I expect?

    By the way,this is all play all style with perhaps wonging out via strategic breaks now and then.

    Using CVCX, 6 decks, H17, DAS, pen. 4.75/6 and ill-18

    Game 1
    EV = $11.59/100 rounds and C-Score = 12.13

    Game 2
    EV = $13.79/100 rounds and C-Score = 17.15

    So, game 2 is better by about 40%

    Remember this? Your threads are getting ridiculous. You claim to be trying to learn, but I see no evidence of any effort on your part. You ask the same questions repeatedly on multiple forums and get plenty of quality responses. People put in time to write thoughtful posts, offer you advice, and yet you ask the same questions repeatedly.

    You can expect dismal results when you are asking to be spoon fed.

    Smartpart, what baffles me is why you read my postings let alone why you take the time to answer with nothing that would benefit any other reader. I am an old man and I may never succeed in being a good AP and maybe I forget what I have posted in the past. There are people with more patience, maturity and kindness that do not mind responding to the question in the posting.

    Remember, my handle is ZeeBabar. Don't bother reading my postings since you know they will bother you. Much thanks!

    Pick up a counting book, preferably BJA3 or Professional Blackjack, then buy CVCX. Instead of constantly asking about TC bet spreading on a forum, go play around with CVCX, you will learn far more by putting in the work yourself.

    In my opinion, norms book, blackjack blueprint, and blackbelt are much better books than professional blackjack, but it is still a solid book. There is just more out of date information included and I feel like it is poorly organized. Ignore the true edge method if blackbelt is your choice.

    Whichever book gets the money really..Learn the basics, play with the advantage, learn how to get away with big bets(common sense), and play the best games, and you'll succeed as a counter. Ill give you a tip. THINK AND ACT LIKE A PLOP, BOOM! There's all the cover you will ever need. I just saved you hundreds of dollars from counting books, in a couple of sentences

    I am not interested in being a full time AP. I live where 11 months of the year, there is just one game, H17, 6deck, no LS game. I might spend no more then 10 days a year traveling to Las Vegas or Tunica or Gulf port. For just this one game, I have read all the books mentioned here.

    Now, all of you have nothing better to do than get irritated with my postings, please move on. Do not waste your time, get your Bp up.

    for some of the kinder, gentler, more mature folks, hopefully, you will address the question I posed. G-Man, what C Score indicates a worthwhile game, what would be an excellent one and what is simply not worth it? I have no choice at present but to play this one game which CBJN says has a casino edge of .56. I am trying for longevity and not simply a hit and run style, get ahead by a hundred or more, come back again. I do have a 6 figure full time job and at present BJ is all about learning and experimenting in live situations.

    A game with a SCORE of 12 or 17 is not a good game. I won't play unless the game SCOREs around 50 or better.

    I am looking at CBJN and most 6 deck games, here and in Las Vegas at the $10 level are about the same, about .56 edge to the casino and and I am using 1-12 spreads so why is the score so low? What raises the score? Is it the game itself or is it the bet spread or what? Should I jump the spread higher at each TC even if the top bet is high enough? One thing I am thinking off is to play $10 at TC0 or below, $20 at TC1, $40 at TC2, $60 at TC 3, $100 at TC4 and $150 at TC5 or more. This is a quicker ramp up from the ones I have been using.
