TIP (if I can do so without getting attacked): For the visual memory types, you can use visual images in terms of colors for the plus and minus. Visual images are instantaneous so there is no "saying" in your head. You simply see the number in whatever colors work for you for plus and minus. I like warm colors for plus and cool colors for minus. Like the deck is hot or cold. "Saying" things in your head can take to long when keeping multiple running counts especially with the most desired dealers for counters, lightning fast dealers. I always thought it was funny the casino thinks you have an edge so they make you play more hands per hour. Sometimes its just the dealer but a good dealer will adjust the speed of the game to your speed of play. Most players find it most enjoyable when they aren't waiting for the dealer and don't feel rushed.
