if the pen is good 25-150 is good enough to beat it.I do not think the ror is low enough. You should use hi opt 2 w asc for sure to beat it with a 1-6 spread and wong out ,plus do not stay too long and find some other store.if you can not play at other store ,i will assume that you will not last long. It's not only about beating the game ,if you are not able to play enough rounds to get to the long run,you are just gambling.

You just need a minor adjustment...

I had a similar bankroll and in the casino near me, I liked playing the DD game with similar rules and a $25 min. The DD game with $25 min. Had fewer ploppies, no time consuming, irritating side bets etc. luckily, I realized I could keep my $150 max bet and be better off playing the $10 min., 6 deck games and spread 1-15 and win more. I just had to learn not to get upset with ploppies, more crowded tables and silly side bets and such. It was safer, less heat and less ROR.

With limited bankroll and a top bet of $150, or two hands of $100 each, you can reduce your ROR playing 6 deck games. In positive hands I play 2 hands, otherwise my min bet is only $10 and I wong out when count gets too far south.

If this is too much stress for you, consider downsize. It appears that you were using this activity as therapy, if it is stressing you out it may not be the right activity or the right bet size for you.

How true, but that is what the feds want us to get accustomed to thinking.

I was suspicious of this thread's veracity at the beginning, and even more so now.

yes you need help, its called gamblers anon!!!!

stop using your money, save it for your family, kids, a house. making any decent money at bj is very difficult and the swings wipe most people out.

    good luck
I am not milking the system. I am 69 years of age on social security retirement and in wheel chair disabled. a job is not in the picture for me. my doctors encourage me to play bj.

with 25 min bet I think 50 max bet is too low. what do you think.

    ouchez,
why do you question my veracity. I am being straight with the situation. no sense in fooling ourselves.
    please advise.
I am an unusual guy with marginal life. a loner most of my life. no wife no kids not much family. with illnesses mental and physical. I had to think outside the box to get by. bj is an option for this I think.

I am now 69 in retirement with illnesses.

really, why do you question my veracity????

Nothing wrong with a little 69 during retirement.

On a serious note, I too am wondering what Ouchez is seeing that I am not. He is a very insightful guy, so I am not questioning his intuition, just wondering what I am missing....again.

A 1-2 spread won't make any money. For a $50 max you should be playing $5 min bet and wonging aggressively.
