    Is electronic Blackjack beatable?

Hey guys and gals, I would like to know in a nutshell if electronic blackjack is beatable? Game conditions are as follows for a other type of casino: 6 decks, real cards are dealt out to the players and are also displayed on a video screen in front of the player. BJ pays 3:2, dealer has to stand on hard 17 and hits soft 17, doubling is allowed on any first 2 cards, pairs can be split up to 3 times while aces can only be split 1 time.

With these rules would anyone consider this a decent game for 6 decks? Could a counter bust this game up using a 1-5 betting spread? Also noting that used cards are in the rack for deck estimation for true count.

Any comments would help out, thanks.

1-5 is not enough of a spread, but the main question is how deep in the 6 decks do they deal?

If 1-5 is not a good spread in your opinion what do you think would be adequate in such a described game? I have not seen the game in action but I would have to assume that they are playing out atleast 4.5 out of 6 decks. What do you think?

Here is Norm's online CVCX link. http://www.blackjacktheforum.com/res...hp?do=cvcxpage

Just plug in your spread and what count you are using and you will see some results. The 2 biggest factors on your win rate will be the size of your spread, and the depth of the penetration.

Those games are usually deadly slow. Unless you are able to play very high stakes and use a massive spread itll probably result in a waste of time.

If you were to make that S17 instead of H17 this would be the description of your typical AC game! Would that be a .66 HA or so? That's potentially beatable but what's the table min.-max.? I'm unfamiliar with electronic blackjack. Could you describe this in more detail?

The min-max is $5-$250. This game is at a racetrack. To describe the game a bit more they have a real dealer dealing the cards, digital money is used there are no chips in play, it's a 6 deck shoe game. As the cards are dealt there is a video monitor in front of the player which shows the player the cards on a screen, that's how the players splits, doubles, stands, etc. So you are dealt a real hand with real cards but they also appear on the monitor to coincide with the state laws as being a game of electronic skill.

I do think it is beatable and it seems as if it's better game compared to digital cards being played out of an imaginary shoe. There must be an optical card reader built in the shoe that displays the players hand in front of their corresponding monitor. What did you mean here, "Would that be a .66 HA or so?"

Sounds like it could be difficult getting your money once they no longer appreciate your action, or does it pay out with a push of a button and a ticket like a slot.

House advantage according to the game rules. Most AC games are h17 and das and no surrender. The 6 deck s17 tables are all High limit(mostly) the HA is .38 I believe.
The PA games which are 60 miles away and offer s17 and late surrender are .33 HA or .32. There is an edge calculator in the BJ resources section.

You guessed it, just a push of a button. It's set up like todays' slots with payouts.
