We will continue to monitor the free pages for violations. But, we don't bust a post simply for absurdity. Seriously, this site has vastly more posts than bj21. We have over 300 new membership requests a day. We don't have a full-time person to control all this. What would you have us do? We have asked for input at solving the volume questions from the start. You are good at criticism. Do you have a useful suggestion?

Ban absurdity? That is absurd. @ 300 a day X 365 days = +10,000 new members in one year. You are going to need a new army of mods to control the EV among that lot, not to mention the usual percentage of absurdity. FUN TIMES AHEAD!

Said dealer is the "breaker" meaning he goes from table to table giving other dealers breaks. Either that or some casinos have their dealers switch every 20-30 minutes and are constantly rotating. If the dealers keep their own tips this makes it fair for all so that the same guy isn't stuck on a $3 table all day.

Yes, a lot of nonsense gets posted. That doesn't mean it should be allowed to continue ad infinitum.
This thread should have been closed some time on page 1.

Just curious, how many posts per day are there on the subscription forums?

Thanks, you've done your bit to keep it going. I asked how much can a dealer on average, expect to make on tips, over say one week, normal shifts? I believe a pay rate of $8hour must be slave wages. Who can survive on that? If that was me, I would be a very sloppy dealer to sober, non-smoking friendly types who tipped... giving peeks often, as well... just to get back at the slave drivers. I guess I wouldn't last long as a dealer.

Depends on the store. I think the average on the LV strip is about 100-120 per day. Weekends is like 150-200 (average). Small off-strip casinos are about 30-50 average (daily), but high variance since most tips come in from only a few players a day (5, maybe 10). Station casinos and station-like casinos I think are around 80 average per day. Hustling tips really isn't that worth it, since you share tokes with all dealers for that 24-hour day (at most stores, at least). Also, dealers are taxed on their tips AND hourly wage (hourly wage is $7.25/hour).

    Hi Kat

Waiters can be paid as little as $ 2.13 an hour by their employer.
