Resurfaced

Hello All

I have resurfaced to the blackjack world well at least to this online forum, previously from the blackjackinfo forum, after an extended hiatus from BJ. I have not returned to the tables but am brushing off the rust.

I've been lurking here for 2-3 weeks and looking forward to BJ discussion and a possible return to the tables.

Welcome back to the insanity. I made a return to blackjack about a year ago, and it took 2 months of practice and low stakes play to shake the rust off. I've been doing well since then, and I wish you good fortune and success in your AP efforts.

Thanks, its great to see some familiar names from the old board. Especially excited to see KJ is still grinding it out and that the community is still benefiting from his experience.

What have I learned? Hmm. Just looked and its been over 2 years since my last post on BJinfo. Doesn't seem that long. I put BJ aside with an expectation that I may never return and have rarely thought about it, to be honest. Apparently there was still an ember glowing.

I'll have to make some adjustments to improve longevity and that's what I'm working on now in practice. It does no good to beat the game if they won't let you in the door. Being a winner is hard, being a long-term winner is much harder. I don't know if I know how to do that yet.
