    Linux, Ubuntu (and other flavors of UNIX) are inherently superior to WindoZe !

    Although I have used Unix/Linux since I was in Graduate School and I actually use Linux now much more than I use Windows. i would say it really all depends. For me for example, all the calculations and data analysis is done on Linux, but presentation "embellishment", reports, scientific paper are now mostly done on Windows using: Photoshop, Excel 2013, Word 2013, PowerPoint 2013.
