    Casino collectables

Are there any members here who collect casino items such as chips, dice, cards or anything else. I don't collect myself but was just curious if there are any serious collectors here.

Each time a visit a casino for the first time, I leave with a $5 chip. Started doing this about 2 years ago.

Stick em in a box when I get home. I have around 50-60 chips? No idea why the hell I do this?

I try to buy a pair of canceled casino dice from each casino I visit. I keep them in a dice display case...

I have shirts, shot glasses, and other random sh*t I don't really need. Although I do like collecting casino "stuff". I think I might start collecting stuff from casinos -- I really like that idea.

I collect cash from each casino. Large numbers of Ben Franklins are preferable.

SystemsTrader....!!! OMG... I hate you! Dammit.

I saw this thread of yours and thought, oh cool! I'll contribute a post of my most unique casino chip from my little collection.

Background: Around 1999-2000 I spent some time in Moscow (long story) and back then they still had casinos (all shut down by Putin around 2009)... and I saved a 25 ruble chip from one of my trips.

It was a GREEN chip and looked like a regular "quarter" but actually 25 rubles was worth only about a dollar.

So, really, it's just another of my usual dollar-chips saved from many casinos over the years. I have one from the old Aladdin... one from Lady Luck... from the original Casino Windsor in Canada (before it became Caesars Windsor). Lots of places. But none of 'em as unique as my NOVY ARBAT KAZINO iz MOCKBA

So I went to look for it, to make a scanned image and post it here. Thought y'all would like to see it.

    And... I can't find it.

    I looked everywhere.

I thought it was put away "somewhere safe". I found a lot of my other souvenirs from Russia, but I CAN'T GOD DAMM FIND MY NOVY ARBAT CHIP!!!!!

    AAAAAAAAA!!!! this sucks

So I hate you, for making me realize it's lost. LOL

P.S. I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere eventually... just as soon as I STOP OBSESSING and LOOKING FOR IT. Dammit. Where is it????? Aaaaaaaaa.....

Years ago, my family took a trip to Las Vegas. My dad bought two $1 chips from each of the strip-casinos (that we visited), one for my brother and one for me. Don't remember how many we got, but must have had at least 10 chips each. Come to think of it.....I'm not sure where they are.
