    Cool First counting adventure.

It went well. Very well actually. I used a simple hi lo count. The fist few shoes I played strictly bs. It went great. The last 6 shoes I played, wonged out of 4 when the TC hit -2. The shoe I lost my small br I brought for practice actually got up to a tc of +5 but that's life. The dealer beat the hell out of me. I was just excited to hold the count while being sociable and interactive. Forgot to add I was able to drink a decent amount and stick to the bs/indicies. Split aces with a +4 TC and drew a 2 and a 6. Ha ha ha. Final hand stood a 16 against a 9 with a +5 count since I couldn't surrender. Either way, I was very happy.

Congrats. My first time, I lost the count. Get up and move to another table only to lose the count again.

Lesson one. Never start a shoe unless you have the cash to finish it if the count skyrockets and things go bad. You never want to have to walk away from a big count due to going bust.

Well, I didn't bring a large amount of money because if I wasn't able to count it then id of been stuck gambling it with just BS. It was my very first time attempting counting. Counting in pairs is 10x easier than counting the cards as they're dealt. Last 5-6 shoes had it down no problem.

I wasn't trying to pick on you, just point out an error that should never be made. I understand your idea but you had to walk away from a big plus count. You should make sure that NEVER happens again. Just leave rather than start a fresh shoe once you are that depleted. That means bringing more money than you will lose most of the time because you will walk with a wad but it allows you to have enough to start a fresh shoe when you would otherwise be walking.

Yeah, you're fine. While you're a beginner, it's fine to lose your session bankroll in the middle of a shoe for now. You don't even have a real bankroll yet. Just something to pay attention to when you get serious. Congratulations on successfully learning and applying card counting.

I lost the count all the time. In fact, I still do after a long time away. I can be a space cadet.

Didn't take it as you were picking on me. I still felt somewhat accomplished after my session. My end goal is sp21, not blackjack. Just wanted to implement what I had studied up already and see if I was capable. If I can't handle a level 1 blackjack count, there would be no hope for sp21 lol.

Thanks. Still have much more work to put in. A step in the right direction though.
