    The Perfect Loser...

I want to share a few paragraphs with you, the author (argentinian), a renowned latin american professional gambler, with enough experience in various types of games, so I had to translate, it was written in Spanish, so excuse the typos. Personally I think it is very helpful to people starting in card counting or any other game, or people who still believe in progression systems.

    THE PERFECT LOSER (PL)

What is the Perfect Loser? A fictional figure that allows for the absurd become a Perfect Winner (actually closer to that)

How is the behavior of a Perfect Loser, someone who always loses?

    1st Question:

What is the one thing that will surely produce someone loses all his sessions?

Hint: It is considered that the casino never closes.

    Answer: Staying up losing...

Obvious conclusion, you have to go when you win.

    The 2nd question:

When leaving, like knowing that if I win I will keep winning?

Answer: Any bad streak begins with a negative count/card.

This is the first sign, sometimes enough to leave, for example if we play simple flat bet, if our goal is to win a unit (or ten, it's the same for that matter) just won two if we lose the next we go to the mission accomplished and cut outright the possibility that we grab a bad streak .

It is clear then that the Perfect Loser not know what to do when he win.

    3rd Question:

What the Perfect Loser does when he loses?

Answer: Play more and more and more and more and more...

If you are on a hole the only thing not to do is keep digging.

If we take a shortcut, we can see that a recovery strategy should be slow, especially because we can not get into despair and to reflect on whether it is not tomorrow the day to recover.

    So far:

The Perfect Loser when he wins, he stays until he loses everything.

The Perfect Loser bet when he loses more and more or lose more and more, until you run out of money or he is dead.

    The 4th question:

What if on that bet more and more back to win or be recovered?

Answer: If he recovers, he stays and returns to Step 1

    Other question:

    What/why the Perfect Loser plays?

Answer: The PL seeks to accelerate the times and the playing time, so he plays as hard as possible.

Do you know why? Because he wants to stop suffering, he can’t handle it anymore.

Q: is it perhaps the PL a fool?

Only an intelligent person can lose a lot in the casino.

Controversial word by the way, a fool generally not have much money, and when it is not easily lost, is sullen and suspicious .

Look at the big losers and generally be very capable people in other areas, big businessmen, professionals, merchants. Smart people.

Yes, smart people following a stupid behavior.

And I'm not talking about gambling addicts, at least not in its terminal phase .

The PL in the background thinks he can not win and there's so much social pressure to do so.

Anyone can say that he is a multinational tobacco company executive and people will look him with admiration (when is proved that the tobacco kills).
It is difficult not to be rejected when someone says that he lives for the game, although legal, although a deeper act of justice as it does not hurt anyone .

The PL is an intelligent, often moral being debated, and has a terrible internal struggle, wants to win, but not continuously because his head is full of prejudices and social conventions .

The PL feels good just start playing, because adrenaline makes him well, but after a while it becomes a torture and anguish begins .

    P.L. completed the Phase 1

    In short :
    Phase 1 The Perfect Loser

    1. - When winning plays until it loses.

Two . - When he lose, plays more (because he can’t handle the pressure of playing , if he lose because he's smart and knows what it takes to win money and if he wins that is difficult to sustain this way of life socially. Want to lose and end this suffering, this internal struggle).

Three . - If he recovers, he stays until to return to Step 1 (continues the pressure, now started by adrenaline )

The Perfect Loser is an intelligent, generally successful outside the casino, has a morally discussion between winning , as he would like, but the moral rules condemn him, and lose that moral rules also condemn him too.

    PHASE II PERFECT LOSER

As the Perfect Loser is an intelligent, he ends up realizing that his play is stupid...

    What PL do then?

The PL when is tired of losing, becomes a systemist.

But how he choose the systems?

Answer: Tap into other systems. Pseudo scientists-systems who say that just a progression is enough to win .

How he choose then within many systems?

Choose according his criteria, the systems that have greater logic.

Those who say never hit on 12, or in a particular stretch if I make a progression until I win, I will always win.

Anything that can happen will happen...

What happens then with the PL?

The Perfect Loser , "buy " systems based on the "logic" that he will always win, is just about enough patience and nerves of steel ...

He clings to it and stay away to all other criteria, especially since these systems are winners most of the time, and take him to see how his profits are diluted in a single game session .

Sure, the Perfect Loser comes to play without conduct and then he thinks his behavior is failing.

Sure, his behavior was failing, he is smart, so he clings to a method that prevents him to deviating.

    How's this then?

The PL now more suspicious, takes more time and effort to analyze systems and strategies, read and research more and more... finally took the right way... surely starting to stop being the perfect loser .

    PHASE III PERFECT LOSER

The PL in phase 3, becomes suspicious, unbelieving , try different systems, becomes less enthusiastic and starts to abandon systems quickly especially when the first loss appear.

Although he has a system like card counting at his fingertips, is wandering elsewhere waiting for the miracle.

As we can see the casinos are full of PL’s in three phases, don't be one of them.

    Manrique.
