Mt. Airy Casino 50% rebate promotion

Mt. Airy casino is offering a 50% loss rebate promotion up to $50,000 for new members during the month of September. This seems like an incredible advantage for the player. I read the promo description but is not too detailed. Does anyone have more detailed information about this deal?

Mt. Airy is one of the sweatiest casinos that I have ever been to.

I suspect that this is nothing more than an overt A.P. Trap.

The promotion applies to slot machines only, no table games or video poker.

It doesn't go on to mention no table games, though it can be inferred, but it does mention no live poker in addition to the already excluded video poker.

$500 Rated Slot Loss means you lose $500 on a slot machine with your card properly inserted and accepted. A $500 slot loss does not mean $500 other kind of loss.

I saw that as well and I agree with you except there we go inferring again. You've seen it many times where promotions get changed or altered for the worse under the excuse of not being specific, rather vague.

And, we should all be aware that this is not the first time the rules were put out. They were already amended once, to include video poker, (or rather, exclude), as before it only stated live poker.

In short, they are aware of specifics being spelled out to cover their bottom line which leaves (me) little room for inferring, regardless how obvious the point may be.

At the end of the day, this may very well be a Moot point and we all might be wasting our time as both Mt Airy and Revel seem to be in constant and ongoing competition to see who is the ****tiest and sweatiest store around.

    I'm not touching this promo.

    YMMV

Does that 5 hours or rated play mean 5 hours on a slot machine? Hate to find that out after the fact.

Precisely, a la' Revel. Go broke first, then get told you're not eligible for rebate. Very classy.

Let me predict the future: slot limits get cut, anyone playing high limit slots gets backed off, and eventually the casino refuses to honor the promo for most people.
