    flying on short notice

so I am sometimes finding it unrealistic to plan a playing schedule months in advance...but since I am starting to travel more I am finding where if you book flights within 2 weeks the prices are really really high. Right now im basically going where ever I can get "last minute deals" on expedia which are very very cheap. Basically , does anyone have any advice or tips on how to travel on short notice for a reasonable amount?

It also doesn't help that the airport I fly out of tends to be 100-150 more on all flights then surrounding airports but its out of convience that I choose that airport so im willing to pay to use it...

I don't have any advice on how to get better deals, but if flying on short notice, you should expect to be "randomly selected" for an enhanced security screening. I'm sure you've dealt with that already, but just a heads up.

If you haven't already done so, post your question on Green Chip. There are a few players (The Chaperone, for example) who will fly at a moments notice when he gets wind of a juicy promo.

You'll never have that problem. You've worked hard and have accomplished a lot already. Post away...

    I think you're safe
"One of these days in your travels, you are going to come across a guy with a nice brand new deck of cards, and this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the Jack of Spades jump out of the deck and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not take this bet, for if you do, as sure as you are standing there, you are going to end up with an ear full of cider."

Prices are really, really high but you're willing to pay $150 more? I'll refer this question to Mr. Spock.

Time to buy a plane. Flying is easy. Landing isn't hard. Landing were you want to is the trick.
