I am trying to imagine a situation where this behavior would be justified. Maybe if they had brandished a weapon. But to me this just looks sick and wrong.

Where did you see this? The story said that the family claimed that the state was "pursuing" charges. A news program should get this from the state, not the claims of people trying to get thousands of dollars. I can't find any mention of this from any other source.

This happened ten months ago, and the only station that is covering the story is 1500 miles away from the casino. No local coverage from the AC Press, any papers in Jersey, Pa, or NY.
If a half dozen or more security guards were arrested, you would think some news outlet would cover it.

    Can't argue with that.

    BTW, I'm a French model.

or is it just bonjour? Anyway, security guards aren't normally the brightest star in the sky but surely they know that cameras are everywhere in the place. It would take one (or a few in this case) dumb mutha to assault a group of hotel guests in that manner without good reason.

There has to be another side to this story and it may just be some people looking for their shot in the silly lawsuit lottery. I wouldn't be surprised if Harrah's settled out of court just to keep it out of the mainstream press.

The Stronger Than The Storm ad campaign for AC to bring people back is in full swing along with the local news stations.
I called fox 29's news line and asked why the story wasn't being covered here and also called ABC local news.
Both answered ok we will look into it.

They are running these ads in NYC, suggesting that people go to AC for the bars and nightclubs. Traveling a couple hours to go to a bar or nightclub is not a great argument for a New Yorker as I hear NYC has a few within walking distance.

The video starts with the husband arguing with a man who is identified as the Hotesl General Manager. The GM doesn't generally get involved with guests unless there is already a problem.

Over the last few years, we’ve seen a growing number of lawyers advertising for clients to sue companies. Now, I’m all for suing a company that has done something egregious. (And, I generally like the idea of suing casino security.) But, in some cases it just looks like a way to win a lottery without buying a ticket. Take this site: http://bpoilmoneyinfo.com/, created last month. The site says even if you don’t think you were affected by the BP oil spill in 2010, and you have no financial loss tied to the spill, they have 171 ways and 20 accountants on staff to find ways of getting some money.

Just thought it interesting that the site is run by the person in the video trying to get money out of Harrah’s.
