a fellow AP at the table who you know, should you say hello or anything to the person? Maybe wait until they say something? Maybe talk to them later? Figure that we take the oath of Omerta and shouldn't let anyone know that we know each other.

My Ability in Blackjack is a Gift from God!!
If I knew someone was an AP before sitting down I wouldn't join the table. Maybe the EITS has seen a max bet cycle already and is just waiting on 2nd cycle for confirmation.
When you discover another AP while in play you should leave without any contact.
Having two AP's in the same casino at different tables could be advantageous as the EITS and pit will have divided attention. There's likely a limited number of casino personnel on each shift that can maintain a count in real time.
You should never talk to another AP on the casino floor. Probably not a good idea to play, what happens when the count tanks, you gonna saddle the other guy with the negative rounds to eat? Kiss that friendship goodbye. Ask the dealer to reserve two spots for you and then go into the bathroom and text the other guy to ask how long he's planning to play. If it's gonna be a while, just leave. Your two spots reserved will help the other guy keep the table mostly to himself. After 20-30 minutes the lammers will come down.
