Ok we'll today turned out pretty good, made a decent profit so trip is up so far 10% of bankroll.
I only visited three casinos and played 1 smaller strip dd spreading 25 to 125 and did quite well. Conditions and pen was good no heat at all. The visited one off strip casino the count didn't fluctuate for 30'mins and had to leave for a show so nothing there. I just went back to one dd I hit the day I arrived and was the same pb, and he was watching my game for literally 30 mins every hand lol so just flat bet and left haha ill go back at a different ****.

can somebody tell me the normal shift times for a pb?

    I have experienced 116° F. in L.V.

    You get a hat.
    You get PF 50 Sunscreen.
    You get hydrated.

    You get back to sleep.

in my neck of the woods the dealers shifts are 3AM to 11A, 11A to 7p, 7p to 3A.

it seems the PB shift changes sometime in the middle or 2 hours before/after the dealers.
    YMMV.

Some in LV are 10am-6pm-2am-10am. Also many are offset by an hour earlier (so starting at 9am or 8am).

I think a bunch of us are having Vegas trips about now and we didnt even organize a party. I've gotta say, it's been brutal, and I'm not taking about the heat. I actually enjoyed the 111 degrees. The problem is that I donated to the local economy and my hometown casinos will have to pick up the bill. Kj, enjoy the stimulus package I just delivered. If you find any of the purples that I dropped around town feel free to enjoy them.

I'm living in LV for the summer. If ya wanna meet up for a beer or food, PM me. I enjoyed the 103 degrees today, felt great!

Beginning of summer, I was experiencing amazing variance, being around 20x above EV. Then all of a sudden, it hit me, the "other" side. Losing much more hands during neutral/negative TC's, and once the TC gets in my favor, end up with great doubles like 11v6, and somehow dealer pulls those 5s out of her ass and I get roasted. Dealer gets a BJ at -8 TC 3 times in a row but doesn't get a single face-under on insurance call at +10000 TC? Seems like positive variance is great, but no matter what, negative TC is way worse than positive variance is great.

Today's high was 109 at 2:56pm, according to the National Weather Service, a degree cooler than yesterday's high. But you are correct, this still springtime heat-wave was much more tolerable than when we have several days of 110 weather strung together later in the summer, because of the cooler nighttime and early morning temperatures, as I explained earlier in the thread. But again, it's still spring time. Just wait 'til summer arrives and the valley really heats up, RollingStoned.

Well today has been positive for me again, I'm starting to become familiar to some pbs and have not been 86d yet. I have some great games I'm playing, although I just finished up a game where the dealer started to change the pen from .7 to cutting off 1 deck. I complained but they didn't care, even another guy at the table supported me.

off to some places I have not played yet, so we will see how it goes. So far up around 45% of bankroll, which is amazing lol I'm just waiting forthe negative variance to take it all back. Absolutely love coming from a place where I can't even really play to somewhere where games are in abundance. You guys are so lucky lol

I'd be careful about the pen complaint to the dealer... it might confirm their suspicion. Recreational players don't worry about pen. I usually move if the 2nd pack has a center cut. Sometimes it's a fluke, sometimes it's a message.

Yeah, gotta keep your eye out for that. Some dealers are just bishes though and LOVE shuffling. -__-
