    M.: Casino Verite?and K-O

Does CV 2.0 support the Knock-Out count. I read somewhere that it didn't, but if it supports most popular counting systems then it should include the K-O, which i use. Also, can you use CV to test yourself on the strategy indices of your count? ie. will it correct you if for example, you hit 16 vs. 10 at a count of +1 or more in a 2 deck game (KO).

    Thanks again.

Yes CV supports KO, but it is not included because I cannot get permission from K & O. You need to enter it yourself, as hundereds of people have already. Frankly I find this quite aggravating. Next version I'm including a new strategy using the KO tags but better indexes.

Yep. In the game or drills.

    Parker: CV and KO

Setting up Casino Verite for KO is really no big deal. The program allows for up to 10 "User strategies." You can base your user strategy on a count that is already loaded into the program.

For KO, just set it to Red 7, and set it to count all the sevens as 1. Change the name to KO. Set the offset for # of decks to 4.

Go to the strategy tables, which look a lot like the KO preferred matrix grid, and enter the values from that grid.

    Lastly, enter your betting scheme.

Go back to the menu, go to "Select/view strategy" and select your newly defined KO strategy. You're done.

The whole process should take less than 10 minutes.

It's a lot easier than, say, setting the clock on your VCR. :-)
