Plus24: European No Hole Card Basic Strategy

    Don,

It's been awhile since I've visited the site. I'm off to Europe again this summer and can't find Basic Strategy for the No Hole Card rule that you so graciously provided for me a couple years ago when I went on a cruise to Greece.

It will be 6 deck shoes, I presume S17, DAS, no resplit A's.

I know there weren't that many changes to Basic. All changes occurred when the dealer first card was a 10 or A: Fewer double downs, fewer splits, etc.

A quick refresher on No Hole Card Basic would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, welcome back. Hope all is well.

Piece of cake. Simple rule: With one exception, don't put any extra money on the table, via doubles or splits, when the dealer shows ten or Ace. The exception: continue to split aces vs. dealer's 10.

Good luck, and have a great trip!

Thanks, Don. Sorry I didn't get time to check your response sooner. May is a busy time of year for me, as you know. So, I'm a little late in checking back at this site.

All is well here. Hope the same is true for you and family.
