    blackjack crusader: BJ as Investment?

If one has a SCORE (EV) based on fixed bets, what would the effect be on EV if they planned on cutting to half bets if half the bank was lost?

    related?

Does the value of a bj investment decrease if one has a short playing vs long playing career? If one player does not play enough to reach the long run vs one who does.

    Thanx anyone for their time.

Not trying to evade the question, but what's the plan after that? Restore to full stakes when? Cut back further if another half of the half is lost?

By the way, before you answer question number one, if you say, "When the full bank is restored," then, on the way DOWN, if you didn't cut back at the 3/4 level to half stakes, why are you remaining at half stakes, at the 3/4 level, on the way back up? :-)

    Of course.

Seems obvious, no??? You have an edge. Would you like to exercise that edge for ten days or ten years? Maybe I'm missing what you're asking.

I do remember your idea of sizing back up to full bets once you get back to the 75% level. It makes perfect sense.

How is initial SCORE (EV) affected by time played?

My answer - The more you play; closer to long run, the more your results will match EV.

How is initial SCORE (EV) affected by resizing?

My answer - If you continuously resize; which we can't, your EV will be about half. If you resize at some fixed point your EV will be between 50% and 100%.

Is there more to it then that? Some simple formulas to help quantify?
