panda: hand shuffle
i play 6 deck shoes about a 74% cut. I notice that thru playing the shoe until shuffle i may not really see a positive running count ( hi-lo) above say +8. After a hand shuffle (same table) I experience about the same results. Does this observation mean anything or is it just complete random. Does an automatic shuffler (not continous) shuffle any differently then by hand.
thanks.

Random.

Maybe. Depends on the house shuffle and how well the dealer implements it, by hand. Both are intended to be random enough so that the cards are considered sufficiently shuffled.
