Thank you Mr. Don and Mr. Young Gun for your helpful insight re Backoff At Wynn. In early 2003 I was trespassed at NY. 2 security officers, one uniformed, one not, along with the shift manager. Nevada Trespass Act read loud and clear to me. Full cooperation on my part ... I'm told I look like either a dentist or a lawyer. At the time NY was still on the old player card system and had not joined the MGM player card family, but were owned by them. Have played at all the other MGM stores since 9 months after this incident with never a problem. Haven't set foot in NY since. Does anyone feel enough time has passed, if ever,to return to NY as the 5 year anniversary is approaching?

Five years? You must be the most patient card counter I know; most people want to know if 6 months to a year is long enough! Considering the high rate of employee turnover (though there's always that ONE GUY who always seems to be there, right?) in the casino biz, what with mergers, etc., my position is that you are okay. The games aren't as good as they were 5 years ago, though!

    >Hi Bettie
Happy holidays to you and Mr. Don. I subscribe a few months a year when I have the chance to visit Nevada due to a seasonal business I own. Thank you for your valuable insight. You may find this funny, I hope you do, a year or so after my unfortunate '86ed' incident at NY (2002) my fiancee made me wear dark glasses into NY when we went to see Rita Rudner she was so paranoid of trouble. We're working white collar folk who play '21' and roulette as serious recreational players and find it most amusing the level of effort and time invested by these mega financed organizations at scrutinizing black and purple part time players. Thank you for your very informative response. And again, happy holidays from 'all star & college girl'!
    All our best!

    allstarnonstop: Live chat tutorial?

    > Bettie,
It's AllStar again. This may be the wrong forum to ask this question and if it is, could you point me in the right direction to where I can get this answered? Regarding the live chat tomorrow, is there an explanation aka ground rules and or a tutorial as to how to participate? Thanks a million! All Star.

Unfortunately, live chats have been suspended due to a serious lack of interest on both the parts of guests and attendees. With very few new books coming out that need to be promoted, things have fizzled and Viktor has simply neglected to remove the banners advertising the chats. We pretty much just discuss everything here on the boards now.
